THE ARCHITECT
Cees den Heijer is a renowned Dutch architect who has been living and working on Curacao for over 18 years. Den Heijer moved to the island for his love of the Caribbean lifestyle and the many architectural opportunities he envisioned. Since his arrival on the island, Den Heijer has kept busy on the drawing table designing multiple trend-setting successful projects. These projects include: Boca Gentil, Papagayo Design Hotel, Mongui Maduro library, Bohemi, The Wharf and Bocazul. Den Heijer was awarded the Cola Debrot prize for his design work.
